How to play Snake
Steer the snake around the board to eat apples. Each apple is worth 1 point and makes the snake one block longer. The game ends if the snake hits a wall or runs into its own body, so the longer you get, the more careful you have to be.
Every five apples a golden bonus star appears. Grab it before it blinks out for 5 extra points. The snake also speeds up as it grows.
Tips for a longer snake
- Stay near the edges early on. Circling the outside of the board keeps the middle open for when you're longer.
- Move in a zig-zag when you're long. Sweeping back and forth in rows leaves your tail in a tidy pattern that is easy to avoid.
- Don't chase every star. A bonus is worth 5 apples, but not if reaching it traps you.
- Plan your exit before you eat. Make sure there's open space beyond the apple, not a dead end.

How do I control the snake on my phone?
